Boating Hardware Prosail is a traditional chandlery focusing on equipment for pleasure boats, both power and sail.

Our staff are highly experienced boating enthusiasts.  Between our small team we share a total professional experience of over 50 years in chandlery.  We have cumulatively built over 30 boats, performed countless rebuilds, raced over 60 State or National regattas, cruised, dived, fished and generally lived boats for many years.  Boating Hardware specialises in technical chandlery, rather than polish and sandpaper.  We construct yacht masts for yachts from Pelican trainers to 60ft cruisers.  We stock stainless steel rigging wire and can swage wire from 1.6mm to 14mm diameter for marine and architectural balustrading.

Boating Hardware is a composite specialist.  We stock polyester, epoxy resin and accessories, over 20 varieties of fibreglass, carbon and kevlar.  We also stock PVC foam sandwich foam, and Gaboon BS1088 marine ply from 3 to 25mm.

Boating Hardware boasts a huge range of yacht equipment including Ronstan and other leading brands.  Boating Hardware has ranked in the top 10 Ronstan marine customers in Australia/New Zealand for the last successive six years.

We have specified many highly successful fit-out packages.  Not only supplying at competitive prices, we even offer to lay the equipment out on the deck, guaranteeing functionality.

Boating Hardware has a huge range of rope and cordage, from poly mooring lines to braided nylon anchor ropes and high tech Dyneema SK75.

We stock sailing clothing from dinghy gear to offshore racing and the most up to date PFDs.

As well as a wide range of metric and imperial 316 fastenings, we stock 316 stainless steel tubing, flat bar and round bar, all available cut to length.
